Meet the Team
Lawson Asset Management was founded by Bob and Michelle Lawson. We are a full-service property management company that prides itself on honesty, integrity and hard work. We believe in creating a positive experience for our residents during their lease term by providing fast repair services, online payment options and superior customer service. This philosophy in turn results in less turnover and vacancy expenses for our owners.
Michelle has been a real estate professional in the Atlanta area for 25+ years, with a brief stint as a Project Manager for the Regional Census Office from 2008-2011. She has worked with hundreds of buyers, sellers and investors to reach their real estate goals. Michelle has worked with developers, builders and general contractors in both the commercial and residential fields. This has helped her build a unique skill set coupled with her integrity and relationship-based customer service philosophy that ensures overall success for her owner-clients and residents. She is known for her results-oriented focus, creative problem solving and get it done attitude. She holds several designations and continues to get the necessary education to stay up to speed with the ever-changing contract and leasing laws and regulations. When you meet with Michelle you will quickly see that real estate is her passion.
Bob Lawson is the Director of Maintenance and Inspections for Lawson Asset Management. He draws on 30 years of residential and commercial construction experience to serve Lawson Asset Management’s owner-clients and residents. He began his career as a high end interior trim carpenter, where he honed his eye for detail and work ethic. After 13 years he ventured into architectural millwork where he was involved in custom cabinet making, bars, furniture and exterior accents for homes. When the Atlanta market experienced the real estate downturn in 2008, he began working for a general contractor serving commercial clients. He than joined the local 613 IBEW and worked for 14 years for the largest electrical contractor in the state of Georgia. He operated a service truck and was promoted to foreman. After much encouragement from his wife and seeing a need in the market he purchased a Pillar To Post Home Inspection franchise and launched Lawson Asset Management. Today he uses all the years of knowledge and experience to help our owner-clients keep their investment properties well maintained and safe for our residents.
